Beautiful weekend

We all had a really nice weekend with the Lohmeier family!  Lots of four wheelers and campfires!

Thanks Grand-maman for letting us have some friends up to the cabin!!

New Adventures

The boys and I have been wanting to go try 2 things this fall:

  1.  the local BMX park in Hagerstown.  Unfortunatley, they closed for the winter.
  2. the local skate park in Waynesboro.  And we finally made it there!

They did really well and were not afraid to ask their new friends (Braydon and Steven) a lot of questions.  Braydon was very helpful and the boys look forward to going back!

The boys first wedding!

They were so excited!  G tried on his suit everyday for a week.  🙂  They even had their haircut at a barbershop and wore their suits to school for picture day.

We stayed at this awesome hotel that I took the boys to back in 2017.  The Kimpton Monoca hotel just a few blocks from the harbor.  It was the old B&O Railroad office and the building is beautiful.

The wedding was for my cousin Jim and his gorgeous wife Sarah.  They were married on a Carnival cruise and then right after the wedding they set sail for Bermuda, but was re-routed to Dominican Republic because of the hurricane.

I think the Pare family looked very nice.

Girls weekend!

Few weeks ago, I was able to spend a very long weekend with some very dear friends!  Thanks Tony for helping make it happen.

Started with a day at Hershey Park, Kiss concert and then off to Pag’s cabin on the lake.

Could not have asked for better weather and great company!

Cosmo

My sweet, loud, snuggly, Cosmo passed away today.  He was 15 and such a great kitty – to me, the kids and Tony.  Even though he had his little fears of people, he always ended up near you, because he just could not resist having his head and ears scratched.

I miss those beautiful green eyes, your weird sleep positions, how great you were at catching things: mice, birds, crickets, stink bugs and even cicadas and your love of all things food!

Rest easy Cosmo Kramer Pare.  We love you and will miss you dearly.

This picture was taken in June before he became sick.

Labor Day

And summer comes to an end.  🙁

Tony (and the boys) and I were pretty far apart from each other this weekend, but from the looks of the pictures it seems everybody had a great time.

While Tony and the Pare family were having a GIANT family reunion (51 people I believe), Michelle, PG and I were spending time with our mom down at his place.  She is actually spending the next 3 weeks down there to give Michelle a little bit of a needed break.  Mom will come home after Michelle’s cruise.

We played a ton of card games with mom, spent a lot of time in the sun and while she was confused about being left down there, I know she is having a lot of fun with PG and Patti.
