Beautiful Boys!

Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy)
Close your eyes
Have no fear
The monster’s gone
He’s on the run and your mommy’s here
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
Beautiful boy
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
Beautiful boy
Before you go to sleep
Say a little prayer
Every day in every way, it’s getting better and better
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
Beautiful boy
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
Beautiful boy
Out on the ocean sailing away
I can hardly wait
To see you come of age
But I guess we’ll both just have to be patient
‘Cause it’s a long way to go
A hard row to hoe
Yes, it’s a long way to go
But in the meantime
Before you cross the street
Take my hand
Life is

Boys Fun Day

I was put at the cupcake table again this year.  I was not thrilled at first, but now I think it is not so bad.  At least the kids remember me each year now.

The boys had a great time and it did not rain until the very end, so they were able to get almost everything in.

They only 1.5 days left of school!!

Happy Mother’s Day

We had a great time yesterday with family at Runways in Hagerstown.  We had dinner with Grand-maman, Uncle Jeff, Aunt Julie, Maddie, Nana and Aunt Chell.

Sunday, we had a lot of plans (for outdoors), but were dampened by the non-stop rain.  We did buy our flowers, so hopefully we will get them planted sometime this week.

I will miss you Grey!

The boys and I were very sad to see her driven away.  All the years we had her and all the places she took the boys and me and the scrap yard bought her for a mere 230.00.  🙁

Easter

We had a really, really nice Easter.

Started with the boys waking up before the sun came out.  They had a very hard time this year finding where the Easter Bunny hid their baskets, so mommy finally dragged herself out of bed at 7 and helped them look around.

Afterwards, it was outside they went to see how many eggs they could find. The morning was beautiful and they had a ton of fun running around.

Afterwards, we went to Aunt Julie and Uncle Jeff’s to eat a lot of food.   So good!  The boys had a great time with their cousin Joey who it about 2 years younger then they are.

This year we had 3 stations set up for dying eggs :

  1.  Rice
  2. Professional food coloring with vinegar
  3. Crayons
  4. Cool Whip

Puzzles

Uncle PG and Aunt Patti bought the boys the puzzles from Cracker Barrel.  We are getting pretty good at them!  The other day, G and I managed to win at least once.
