6.5 hours. It was by FAR the longest we have ever spent at the fair. The boys had a great time. We saw piglets, Lama Obstacle Course, and they rode the mechanical bull. B 29 seconds, G 30 seconds!
The pig butt makes me laugh. She reminds me of the hippo from Madagascar.
Daddy was at the ER show last weekend, so the boys and I went to the neighbors and celebrated the end of summer with a cook out and bonfire.
Back in June, Michelle and I took the boys to their 1st concert (not officially, since they have seen ER, Kix and LA Guns), but I guess their official 1st one in an indoor venue. We had fun and they sang all the NEW dance songs that are played on 95.1 and stations similar. I am amazed at how many I actually knew. 😉
Stephen (Tony’s cousin) showed Joli how family trees work, she was not happy with his people representations. So she asked for descriptions of us and re-drew it.
Back in May, the boys made these at our favorite ceramic studio in Waynesboro. They are both dogs. 🙂
We have been doing monthly dinner out nights and each month someone else gets to pic the location. In June, G picked Chuck E Cheese and I must say….I had a GREAT TIME! You can now buy time vs. points (or coins). In about an hour, Broc and I managed to rack up 1000 tixs. Pretty cool. I think this was our last outing, so hopefully we can pick them back up again soon.
Congrats B&G for coming up with an idea, a drawing and then finally the final product. With help from Tony (nice job DAD!) they are now making some pocket money for their piggy banks. G also deserves a lot of credit. He initiated the idea, drawing the plans on one of our trips to the eye doctor and then followed through with it. B has been very handy and helpful when it came to painting, grabbing stuff from the garden and manning the stand.
They stayed by the stand for a couple of days and waved at all the cars. I think they finally realized that they did not have to always be there. 🙂
