Bears

I am sorry for the delay, but here is a cute picture of the boys from when Michelle and I took them to a hockey game for their belated bday.

12!

Boys had their 12 year check up last week and below is how much they have grown!!  I love that their doctor is the same doctor that has been seeing them since they came home from the doctor.  Always fun to see her.

Broc – 87 lbs and  5′ (last year 85.9 lbs and 4′ 10)

Garret – 94.2 lbs and 5′ (last year 95.4 lbs and 4′ 10″)

Xmas 1, 2 and 3!

What a crazy Christmas break.  I had taken off work to spend the boys winter break with them.  The night before vacation, Tony came down with Covid and was sick for pretty much the entire break and then the boys also came down with Covid as well.  I ended up having to cancel all of our plans to keep the boys home and help take care of Tony AND to take care of all the Xmas duties solo.  Tony was able to sit with us on Xmas day, but from across the room (I did not know if the boys were sick at that time).  B, G & I made the best of everything and had a fun time.  We played a lot of games and did a bunch of baking.

When I finally managed to get a Covid Rapid test – I was able to test the boys and they were positive as well, but I was fine.  I then had to cancel all of their bday activities and we had a little party here at the house.  The lady that was supposed to make their cake, ended up in the hospital and I had to frantically find someone that was able to make me some Fortnite cupcakes and the boys requested Red Robin……yyuuummmm!

The following weekend we celebrated Xmas with my family on New Year’s Eve (#2) and Tony’s family on New Year’s Day (#3).  PG’s girlfriend, Patti, came down with Covid and now we will celebrate Xmas with them at a later date (#4).

With everything that happened and how crazy busy I was – the boys handled it really well.  They amaze me everyday and I am really proud of how they always handle their selves.

Happiest of Birthdays!

I can’t believe they are 12! Seems like yesterday I was rushed back for emergency surgery and then they were there.  6.5 weeks early and the tiniest guys I had ever seen.  It was instant love that has just grown more and more over the years.  They are smart, funny, creative, kind, and so much more!   I can’t wait to see the men that they grow up to be.
Even though we were stuck at home sick – I hope that your big day was as special as you.

Busy Weekend!

Started out Friday with the boys first Middle School holiday concert.  They both did really well and I am very proud of them.

On Saturday, we did our annual cookie bake with Aunt Chell and Nana.  Nana is now famously named the Cookie Monster.  it is like having a toddler around who can’t stop eating the cookies, decorations and anything else within their reach.  🙂  We made 7 different types of cookies and I can’t wait to eat them all.

Today, we bought our tree and decorated the house.  Love this time of year and so fun creating traditions  with the boys.

Parade

I was really proud of the guys.  They entered the dune buggy into the parade this year and took 3rd!!!  Really exciting and they had a ton of fun.

Tractor

I have been teaching the boys how to use the tractor!  They did really well.  🙂

Halloween

Legit, probably my favorite holiday – has come to an end.  🙁  Being sick for it really sucked, but we managed to make the best of it.  Thankfully, the boys did not get it (not sure how, but they didn’t), so they were able to go trick or treating and we came out of quarantine just in time for the Mercersburg Halloween parade.  I am pretty sure though that I would have not gotten it either if it had not been for my B12 Deficiency.  Now that I have muddled my way through it – I have added Vitamins B, C and Zinc to my normal daily vitamins.  Along with the B12 ordered by the doctor.

I have a lot of catching up to do, so there are more pictures to come.
