We did the 2nd annual Movie Night last week and everybody had a great time.  There was swimming, water slides, badminton,  all kinds of kids food, and before the movie started we unveiled the concession stand!  Lots of popcorn, pretzels and movie theater candy.  We watched Sherlock Gnomes (which I was not a fan of) and am looking forward to next year!

 

On July 8th we celebrated everybody’s bday on the Pare’ side of the family at Bob and Ky’s!  It was a lot of fun; there was great food, great company, the pool!, and Aunt Julie made yummy cupcakes.  🙂  I did not want to leave (like do I ever?) and I am looking forward to the next time. Oh yeah, Gman even got a lesson from NCP.  He was very excited.

Yesterday, the boys and I took mom and Michelle to lunch and a magic show in Bird in Hand, PA to celebrate Michelle’s bday (July 16th).  The Magic & Wonder Show was really good and Broc even was selected to go up on stage and help with some magic tricks.  It was cute.  He was very excited to go up there, but when he came back he said “Why did you make me do that?!”.  LOL  Like I forced your hand up.  🙂  He won some tickets to the Turkey Hill Experience and also a DVD that shows him how some of the magic tricks were done.  Afterwards mommy bought them a magic coloring book and the magic rope!!

We had a great time and then we wrapped it up by taking the boys to see their Uncle Bob ROCK with Kix at the Washington County Ag Center.

We had a great time and it was nice to Gary, Carol and the girls.

He has been trying very hard!  He can get two going and has been trying 3, but not quite yet.

We did all of our celebrating last night.  Tony made shrimp boil packets and I made a 4th of July cake.  It was fun to make, but it was SO HOT that everything was melting on it.  LOL, the icing literally kept sliding off the cake and looked a bit of a wreck by the time I finally got it outside.   🙁  Maybe next time it won’t be 100+ in our kitchen.

Tony launched some really cool fireworks and the boys went swimming the dark for the first time.  I think they liked it.  I also was attacked by, Romeo, the grey tree frog.  No idea what was up with that, but he kept jumping on my leg; over and over and over.  It felt really gross!!!

I made it to the cabin this weekend, kind of late on Saturday, but there!  And oh how I missed it!!!  The boys even got to go tubing for their first time.  🙂  It was a perfect day for it too.  River was high enough that it did not take too long to get back to cabin.  The boys swam a little and loved the rapids!!

This is so sad to me.  I grew up a Toys R Us kid and the boys loved saving their money and going there to buy a toy.

We had a BLAST at PG’s this past weekend.  Had a cook out, ate crabs, visited our favorite Mexican restaurant, caught a ton of crabs in our nets (we finally have a pretty good system down…they are fast!),  Broc swallowed a minnow for $ 5.00 (yes, you read that right), the boys helped out a lot around PG’s place, they went tubing and we spent a lot of time at the beach.  Two places I love going to-the beach & the cabin.  🙂  OH, and I was able to read TWO WHOLE BOOKS.

 

Actually Broc specifically said it was Hawaii and thank goodness the No Crashing light is on.

Happy Father’s Day, Tony!!  We love you very much and you are a great dad to the boys.   Everyday they are learning something new from you and it is fun to watch.  I can’t be more proud of you this year and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us.
