The next Bradley Cooper?

Hi Everybody!

Garret will be performing in his first ever play.  101 Dalmatians this summer.

Below is the information if you want to buy tickets.  We do not need to sit together (very hard to get seats next to each other), but I highly suggest….if you would like to see it….go ahead and buy them now.

There are only 92 seats.  We have bought ours for both days already.

Tickets to the camp performances are now available online at www.washingtoncountyplayhouse.com. We only seat 92 per performance. Be sure your friends and family get their tickets before they’re sold out. We’re very much looking forward to camp!

Cruisin’!!

This past week, Aunt Chell, Broc, Garret, Pags, Uncle Greg, Ms. Linda, Cousin Jim and Ms. Sarah all went on a cruise from Baltimore to Grand Turks, Princess Cays, and Freeport.

It was a really good time.  We had quite a bit of rough water and Broc and Linda seemed to take the brunt of it, but with a little meds; Broc was able to manage and have a ton of fun.

The boys really had a wonderful trip.  They knew every inch of the Carnival Pride, loved the Camp Ocean (they did a lot of activities, had a magician, crafts, games, etc), one of our excursions was a VERY HIGH obstacle course with zip line and wrapped up at a private beach, all inclusive beach excursion – where they met a parrot named Mambo #15 and bought some cool stuff, did the onboard slides – which one was CRAZY F-A-S-T!, swam, danced with the waiters at dinner, laughed at the crazy towel animals, became a HUGE fan of Foosball, did some parades, went to the comedy club, ATE a lot of icecream, tried to get on the Family Game Night show and had a great time watching the Lip Synch Battle, and so much more.  It really was a fun trip.

We ate a lot, laughed a lot and made a lot of great memories.  Happy early 50th bday Chell and congrats again on your graduation.  🙂

Your Looking at Country!

Michelle and I took mom to a show at the Green Grove Gardens in Greencastle for her bday.

It was really good.

Husband/Wife duo.  The wife sings songs from Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, and Tammy Wynette.  While the husband talks about the life of each artist.   It was a cute show.  They joked around a lot and she would dress up as each person he was talking about.

Dinner is served.  Chicken, mac and cheese, bbq, coleslaw, baked beans and strawberry shortcake for dessert.

Our mom wanted to go again the next night!!!  Was nice seeing her enjoy herself.  Not often we see her so engaged and happy like that.  She did tell me about 12 times that PG needed to see the show.  🙂

This lady can really sing!!

Junie B Jones!

Loved this and the boys loved it as well.  Garret was really excited to tell the cast that he would be there for their summer camp and being part of 101 Dalmatians.

Turkey Hill Experience

B, G & and I had such a great time at the Turkey Hill Experience!  Located in Lancaster, it is a hands on museum, dedicated solely to how they make their ice cream and iced tea.  After roaming around the museum and making our own ice cream flavor, packaging and commercial….we were able to go to the Turkey Hill Ice Cream Lab.  This is where they give you plain ice cream and then you can flavor however you want, add your choice of syrup and then they have a TON of toppings all along the walls.  Really cool.  I made cinnamon ice cream, with apple and caramel syrup and my topping was roasted coconut.  SO good, just like apple pie.  🙂  G of course made strawberry everything and Broc made all chocolate with marsh mellow syrup.

ICE

The ice was really crazy here last week and hung around for a few days.  B&G had a blast.

Beat Boxes

The boys put their hats on sideways and started to beat box and threw in some break dancing!!   Then afterwards they asked to watch some videos from the Beastie Boys.
