Xmas!!

Xmas always happens so fast for us.  There is always so much going on and then we also have the boys bday, by this time each year…..I feel like I FALL WAY BEHIND!!

Lot’s happened between the 16th and now.  Bday party, bday dinner, trip to Lancaster’s indoor water park, Xmas, Star Wars, Frosty and much more.

We had an Ugly Xmas Sweater contest that Bob won!  Tony made some really cute Santa pancakes and the boys scored some new bikes and guitars for Xmas.  🙂  Garret has asked when he can start lessons at least 1, 2….100 times!  I stole Grand-maman’s ugly sweater cause it was really cute and then realized it says Grandma on it.  LOL

Here are a ton of Xmas pics and there will be more later with some bday, rock concerts, etc.

Wrestling meet

The boys had their first wrestling meet last week and I was really proud of them.  I can def. say, I would have had a hard time doing it.  They were in the middle of a large gym and with people filling both sides of the bleachers.  I think it would have been intimidating for any adult, let alone a 7 year old.  Super cool stuff.   Broc did really good; smiled the whole time and G put in a good fight, but  I think it really caught him off guard.

Then last night G was asked to take part in another meet, which was at the JBHS.  He did really good and earned enough points to keep the team in the lead!  Final score:  Home 36, Away 34!  Broc was supposed to have another meet the next night, but it was canceled.

Broc did really good with rooting his brother on and the rest of his team. I was interested to see how they would do without being right next to each other.  Garret kept asking me if Broc would be there and watching.  I think Broc was a little sad he did not get a chance to wrestle, but he did really good not showing it.

Ho, Ho, Ho

Aunt Chell took the boys to see Santa last weekend at the Green Grove Gardens.  They were very excited!!!

Santa Letters and Cookies

The letters are already in the mail and we are waiting for Santa to respond!! The boys are very specific this year.  They want guitars and lessons!!  Plus a few other things.  😉

Christmas Tree

I love this place more and more every year.  This tree farm is literally one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.

Eclipse

I  never realized I did not post this!!

Was a BUST for us.

We spent time making our viewers and the day was perfect!   Not a cloud in the sky.  As soon as it started…..the biggest, darkest grey cloud covered the sun.  No wind at all and that is where it stayed the whole time.  🙁  Oh well, it was fun and a good experience for the boys.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

We had a wonderful time on Thursday with our families at our house this year.  Tony out did himself and everything was really delicious.  I helped the boys make a sweet potato casserole and they also did a very good job.  The following day we headed to PG and Patti’s house for the weekend and also celebrated Thanksgiving #2 on Saturday.  Patti did a fantastic job with dinner and I always love PG’s deep fried turkey and oysters!!!!

Oh what a night!

Michelle and I took mom to a Paint Nite I was organizing for the boys school.  She had a lot of fun and did really good.  Was fun watching her take it all in and see what her perspective of the painting should look like.
