They are off to 2nd grade. August 17th was their first day and I was very, very sad to see summer come to and end (Broc is def. on the same page as me).
Broc asked if he could skip a year of school….LOL. He seems to be loving it now and reading very advanced books, even though he says he hates it and drags his feet every night when it is time to do homework. His teacher is tough, but I think that is good for Broc and hopefully she will challenge him this year.
Garret is having the time of his life. Loves his teacher and is doing really, really well. Getting a lot of green points, which makes me very happy. 🙂 He has been reading very well too. and he has the freedom to chose his own books and read for 20 mins a night.
